Exploring the frontiers of artificial intelligence together
A new way for Dartmouth students to engage with AIāparticularly what's not covered in classes. Meet the people on campus who are actually building and researching AI. No prior experience required, just curiosity.
Each meeting, officers present on an AI topic of their choiceāwhether it's a research concept, recent paper, AI company deep-dive, or their own work. Topics range from foundational ML to cutting-edge research on agents, LLMs, and more.
Getting involved is simpleājust show up! We welcome everyone from complete beginners to experienced practitioners.
Our club partners with Dartmouth's Computer Science department and Thayer School of Engineering and is advised by Professor Peter Chin. These connections open doors to research opportunities, academic insights, and networking with professors working on groundbreaking AI projects.
"We're building a durable, student-led institution around current AI research, infrastructure, and applicationsābringing together the substantial interest on campus that currently has no home."
Learn from faculty researchers and industry professionals working on cutting-edge AI.
Small mentorship groups pairing upperclassmen with newer membersālearn from peers who've been there.
Attend AI conferences and meet peer institution AI groups at Harvard, MIT, BU, and Northeastern.
Stay in the loop with our bi-weekly newsletter covering AI news, conferences, and opportunities.
We're working to plan a trip to visit leading AI companies, research labs, and startupsāconnecting members with the engineers and founders shaping the future of AI.
We hope to offer compute credits to help members access the computational resources needed for AI research and projects.
